## About Cashmere

Cashmere is obtained from the soft undercoat of cashmere goats, primarily raised in Mongolia, China, Iran, and Afghanistan. The fiber is incredibly fine (14-19 microns) and short (25-90mm), requiring careful processing. Each goat produces only about 150-200 grams of cashmere per year, making it one of the most precious natural fibers.
